Many Medical colleges has seats in vacant and on whole, they are counted to 38.

Reports from the college officials says that there are 1,782 medical seats in general quota for the first round of counselling, now even after sorting, this is the large number which we didn’t have till now. It is reported that Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru has 6 seats in which 5 belongs to general list.

Even after a high demand of medical seats, the count of vacant seats surprised the team of Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA. In this regards, KEA Administrative Officer S.N. It is considered that one major factor would be the postponement of the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for this number of vacant seats as many of the students moved to others.
