Chennai: The young beautiful actress Keerthi Suresh House in Thiruvananthapuram was completely drowned in Chennai Floods and here is the actress shared in Facebook
Keerthi Suresh shared her flood experiences on Face Book. She posted, “My experience during the flood with my family was something indescribable. My Grand mother was admitted at the MIOT hospital and only my mother was with her. The Hospital never allowed any other bystanders. So my uncle and grand uncle came back to home.
Within few minutes, torrential rains started and water started getting inside the house and we were running around from room to room to secure important things. Initially the water was low, then it came to knee level, and the power was gone. With the few hours of inverter power left, we gathered some food, clothes, whatever possible and left upstairs. From our terrace we say hundreds of people walking over the water to reach the metro nearby our house.
As things got worse, the mobile networks also crashed and my mother said that the surgery was called off as water had flooded in their generator room at the hospital. The next day, all of us managed to leave the house with the help of my colleague. Before we could even go to the hospital, my mom finally called up saying she reached to my neighbor’s place. My mother and grand mother also understood that it would not be possible to survive at the Hospital anymore. Both grand mom and mom were brave enough to have decided to get out of the hospital and they did.
They walked with water up to their chest level from MIOT till Porur junction which is around 2 km away and took a taxi from there. I think it was god’s grace that the surgery didn’t happen because if it had, then she would have been stuck in the ICU and the next day I freaked out when I read that 18 people died at the hospital. We stayed at colleague’s home as all rooms were booked in all hotels. We are safe now.
