Kick 2 Movie First Day Collections: 6.5 Crores Biggest Ever for Ravi Teja

Mass Raja Ravi Teja and Surender Reddy’s comedy and action sequel “Kick 2” has been released yesterday with lot of expectations. After super good success of 2009 film Kick, director Surender had decided to do sequel and finally it was arrived on theaters on 21st August.

According to trade reports, Kick 2 had got tremendous openings on first day and as per closed sources, the movie collected approximately 6.5 crores in both Andhra and Telangana regions on first day itself. This is the biggest ever for Ravi Teja compared with his previous films.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram produced this movie under NTR arts banner. This is the first time in Telugu cinema that one hero produced the film of another big hero. Earlier, the team struggled for release due to financial issues, later it was cleared and finally it was out.

Ravi fans gone crazy after saw the film and due to curiosity and huge craze, the distribution rights were sold out for fancy prices in all the areas. Advance bookings were also available before one week and it registered an average of 65% occupancy, which it is said to be highest for Ravi Teja’s film.

The movie was released yesterday in 1200 screens all over world and in USA only the film was released in 150+ screens. The makers announced the first day collections and it collected 6. 5 Crores on first day and beats his previous film “Power” which collects 5.14 crores.
