Kota Srinivasa Rao criticised comedian Brahmanandam over his remuneration and the kind of roles that he is performing in today’s movies.
Senior actor, comedian and awarded supporting character artist Kota Srinivasa Rao has made harsh remarks over Brahmanandam for the kind of roles he is picking off. Both started their careers with comedy filled ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ movie. Since then, both were associated with so many films and they provided comedy to the Telugu audience as much as they can.
Tollywood has witnessed both the star comedians performing to the maximum heights of acting. In recent times, it is observed that comedian Brahmanandam is only getting star hero films and the small time filmmakers are not showing any interest to cast him in their movies with respect to budget issues.
Although Brahmi has reduced his pay, young filmmakers are looking for fresh talent with less remuneration. The age factor is also one of the reasons as why he is not considered by the young heroes and filmmakers.
Kota continued his version on Brahmanandam by saying that he has been doing the same kind of roles and is living with the same get-ups for the last six years. He said that he won’t mind even Brahmi gets angry over his words. “Each film Brahmi is doing is playing the same role of someone who is beaten up to evoke humor. Can this be called as comedy? I don’t think so.” – Kota Srinivas Rao was quoted while his comments.toldActually, Brahmanandam is a fantastic artist, but directors are wasting him,” said Kota.
Srinivasa Rao also complimented Brahmanandam as a fantastic artist, but the directors are wasting his talent.
The issue of Kota criticised Brahmi has not taken a serious turn as the later has not reacted to the remarks made by Kota Srinivas Rao.
Some think that Brahmanandam is steadily losing his charm and even audiences are bored of watching him in the same kind of roles with no difference at all. Apparently, Kota’s feelings also can be sensed in the same way.
