Pakistan: The Lahore High Court has ordered the Pakistan Government, to release the mastermind of Mumbai terror attacks Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi immediately from prison. The justice of high court, Muhammad Anwarul Haq has declared that detention of 55-years-old Lakhvi is illegal under maintenance of Public Order.
The Pakistan government has failed to submit the evidence against Lakhvi in the court. The officer submitted important information, but court did not satisfied with that and declared that evidence unsatisfactory. The judge ordered Lakhvi to submit two surety bonds which have worth of Rs 1 million each for his release.
Lakhvi is one of main accused in 26/11 Mumbai attacks where which 166 Indian and people of several other nationalities who killed. India and several other intelligence agencies shared mountain of evidences against him with Pakistan government. Pakistan Agencies is also known that, Lakhvi is the mail plot in 26/11 Mumbai attacks, but they haven’t moved against him with those evidences. So, Pakistan government detained him in this and several other cases.
The High court did not satisfied with those evidences, and finally ordered the Pakistan government to release him immediately from jail. Lakhvi and others Abdul Wajid, Mazhar Iqbal, HA Sadiq, SJ Riaz, Jamil Ahmed and Younis Anjum were planned the Mumbai Attack in November 2008.
