Chennai: Kollywood actress Lakshmi Menon is to cherish all the moments that she has worked with Ajith for upcoming Tamil cinema, Vedhalam; she is set to play his sister role in this film.

Lakshmi Menon made her debut in Kollywood with the movie ‘Sundara Pandian’. The movie was a huge success. Later ‘Kumki’ elevated her career to next level. The actress was flying sky high and Vishal’s ‘Pandiya Naadu’ showed her as a teacher and in a new dimension.

With lots of success under her kitty, the actress did female lead in National Award winning movie ‘Jigarthanda’. The actress was last seen in ‘Komban’. Then due to plus two exams she never acted in any new movie. When she made a comeback she signed ‘Vedhalam’.

She is doing role of Ajith’s sister in the movie . The actress was happy to accept the offer and this is her first movie after schooling. Now as the movie was wrapped up the actress shares her experience from the movie. She says, “The shooting of ‘Vedhalam’ was wrapped up and the teaser has got a huge positive buzz. Antony L Ruben has made some brilliant cuts and has shown various frames in micro seconds.

I will definitely cherish every moment I worked with Ajith sir. He was so humble. During the first day of shoot, I was so nervous. He understood that I was nervous and he came to me and shared some light moments. I felt ease and then I had the comfort zone. I am eagerly looking forward to the release of the movie.”
