Earlier the organization has announced employment notice for recruitment 700 AAO Vacancies. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of written exam and interview. Those who want to qualify in this exam should prepare as per syllabus and pattern given here.

- Quantitative Aptitude:
Number System, Percentages, Time and Distance, Time and Work, HCF, LCM, Simplification, Fractions, Ratio and Proportions, Profit and Loss, Average, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Algebra, Data Interpretation etc.
- LIC AAO Reasoning Ability Syllabus:
Arithmetical Reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Age problems, Number Series, Grouping Identical Figures, Alphabet Series, Direction Sense test, Coding-Decoding, Ranking, Blood Relations, Analogy, Decision Making, Mirror Images, Cubes and Dice, Embedded Figures etc.
- LIC AAO English Syllabus:

- LIC AAO Professional Knowledge Syllabus (Only for Chartered Accountant Posts): in this section, the questions are given from the basics of this course.
Note: Candidate must qualify in each section. Should also score minimum overall marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview. The minimum marks will be decided by LIC of India. English Language test is of qualifying nature only. The marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.
