The hype for movie was created by releasing the official trailer of the movie in the banner of ‘Eros International’ for about Rs. 100 crores. Then the banner, ‘Eros International’ sold the distribution rights for the Vendhar films of Tamil Nadu.

It collectively distributed to the smaller distributors of the state and then it continued to the other languages, Telugu and Hindi with the dubbed versions. Now, these distributors are highly demanding to return money they paid. This turned into a huge problematic situation to the makers of ‘Lingaa’ movie.
