Love Exchange Movie Review
Fearing their children would escape, they accept their relationship on one condition. The lovers must exchange their homes for three months after engagement to get used to the other’s lifestyle and traditions. They agree and work towards succeeding in the task but parents play spoilsports. Do the elders learn their lesson?
While the actors try their best to infuse life into this lack lustre comedy, the story itself seems pointless. It’s never explained why the parents have strong reservations against love marriages to begin with. Also, the real story only begins in the second half. An hour is wasted to establish the love story, which is unconvincing to the core.
A Punjabi mother speaking bad English (calling organism ‘orgasm’ or saying ‘Where there’s a will, there’s a gay’) is probably the only supposedly funny thing in this ‘romcom’. The remaining characters are as stereotypical. Maharashtrians are educated but not wealthy, Punjabis – vice versa, Gujjus are silly, and Christians are owners of cafes meant for heartbroken men who drink their sorrows away. The list is endless.
With a relevant message but no concrete conflict, this home exchange program fails to hold your interest.

Things take a turn when the two decide to get married. Considering the two are from different cultural backgrounds, they face a lot of difficulties trying to convince their parents for their wedding. The parents team up to separate the lovers and lay down a condition for them to stay at each other’s house for three months to have a better understanding of the culture. Will the couple be able to sustain the battle and convince their parents?
Music
Jaidev Kumar music is really big highlight for this film. All songs are come well in silver screen and Back ground Score was very nice.
Star Cast Performance
All characters played very well. The main lead Mohit Madan and Jyothi Sharma action was superb with nice emotions. Both actors performed very well at few scenes. The senior actor Darshan Jariwala role is main highlight for the film.
But lot of drag and few comedy scenes are not coming well. Overall it is an average flick with some boring elements.
Audience Response
Love Exchange Movie has all commercial elements like love, few action scenes and comedy. But It may reach to only few section of audiences.
