Chennai: The Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam movie directed by Gitanjali Selvaraghavan single track got some positive reviews; the team is thinking to launch audio in a grand event.
Selvaraghavan is a versatile director in Tamil Cinema. But after the loss with ‘Irandam Ulagam’ he kept a low profile. He even refrained from direction. However there were talks regarding his project ‘Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’. But he was not ready to take up the project.
But due to fans request, he said he will handle the story and screenplay section. Direction was given to his spouse Gitanjali Selvaraghavan. This is her debut directorial project. Editor Kola Bhaskar’s son Balakrishna Kola has done the male lead role and Debutante Wamiqa Gabbi pairs against him.
The teaser and the single track ‘Sarakaa’ got some positive reviews and it had shades of Selvaraghavan all over. Achchu has scored music. Sridhar handles cinematography and Vasanth Rukesh provides cuts. U.J. Murugan handles art direction.
Now the team members have confirmed that the Audio launch will take place on 9th of October. The Audio right has been bagged by Think Music India. We hear from sources that the Audio launch will be a grand event and lots of renowned celebrities have been invited.
