Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) film and youth wing on Wednesday conducted a special press meet on taking Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira in upcoming Bollywood movies Raees and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. As we know, Fawad Khan will be seen in a crucial role in Karan Johar’s upcoming love saga Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and beautiful Pakistani actress Mahira is doing a special role in SRK’s Raees.

Both movies are ready for release and before that MNS has demanded the replacement of both the actors from the upcoming movies. Amey Khopkar of MNS president conducted a press meet and said that “We are not accepting Pakistani actors in Indian films. The day when Pakistan will stop attacking our country then only we will extend our friendship. We don’t have anything against artists, but the artists who are working din India remained quiet on the terror attack”.

“We already gave 48 hours of time to leave our Country. If we find any Pakistani actors in coming films, we won’t spare them”, added MNS President.

On September 28, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena workers protested outside the Dharma productions office of ace filmmaker Karan Johar for taking Fawad Khan in his upcoming love drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The president of MNS Khopker warned both Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees makers for casting Pakistani actors in their films. He said, “Karan Johar is not bigger than the Government. He is just a filmmaker. If Karan and Raees makers don’t replace the Fawad and Mahira, we won’t allow their movies to release. They face serious issues if they discard my words”.

Raees features Shah Rukh Khan in lead role and Pakistani actress Mahira has been already roped in as the female lead. While Fawad, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir and Aishwarya rail will be seen in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which is ready for release.

MNS General Secretary also Shalini Thackeray also fired on this issue. She said “Fawad is not my target. We are against every Pakistani actor and we won’t allow them to work in Indian films in Mumbai”.
