Hyderabad: After Srimanthudu Tollywood movie effect, Mahesh Babu is planning to adopt two villages, one from each Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State.
Telugu super star Mahesh Babu recent film Srimanthudu had released few days back and it grabbed the attention of all section of audience. The main theme of the movie is adaption of poor village and now Mahesh is using same formula in real life also.
The actor himself announced news that, very soon, he is going to adopt his father’s home village “Burripalem” which locates in Andhra Pradesh state in Guntur district. Now Mahesh is turned out to be real Srimanthudu not only in on screen but in real life also.
Mahesh said this news in a recent interview and also tweeted in his twitter also. The actor is going to adopt Burripalem village in AP and one more village from Mahaboobnagar district in Telangana. Mahesh said, he decided to take on village from TS state due to suggestion made by Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj minister KTR.
The minister recently saw the movie Srimanthudu and after watching this, minister thrilled and appreciated the concept of the film. Immediately he called to super star and congratulated him on its success and also requested him to adopt one village from Telangana in Mahaboobnagar district.
Recently, Telangana government has started “Grama Jyothi” Programme to empower Gram Panchayats. The Programme was launched by CM of Telangana KCR on August 17th at Gangadevipalli near Warangal.
The actor earlier announced that he would like to adopt Burripalem and after receiving suggestions from K T Rama Rao, he is going to accept one more village in Telangana.
“Very Humbled after receiving a congratulatory call on the success of Srimanthudu from Minister PR&RD @KTRTRS. He suggested I adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahaboobnagar as part of their #Grama Jyothi initiative. I said YES, more details to be announced soon” said by super star.
