The Indian Auto manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has renewed the Engine of their SUV model Mahindra TUV300.
The Mahindra TUV300 is the first Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the country to offer Auto shift procedure called the Automated Manual Transmission Technology (AMT). The model was earlier powered with 1.5-litre 3-cylinder mHawk80 PS engine that produces 80bhp of power and a maximum torque of 230Nm. The same has been empowered with more engine capacity.
Mahindra TUV300 specifications have been renewed only for the top end variants T8 and T8 AMT. They now come with the powerful new engine mHawk100 PS producing 100 bhp and 240 Nm of maximum torque. other specifications and the features remain the same such as 1.5-litre 3-cylinder.

The new engine provides the smoother automatic gear shifts and fatigue free driving experience. It also gets a comfortable better-cushioned seat in the 2nd row. ISO Fix Child Seat Mounts are present in the 2nd-row seats to ensure the safety of the children.
At the launch of the renewed engine specifications model Mr.Pravin Shah, the President & Chief Executive (Automotive) of M&M Ltd. stated that the new powerful TUV300 with the mHawk100 engine will be available in the Indian Automobiles market with the starting price of Rs. 8.87 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai.
Presently, the vehicle price starts at Rs. 7.26 lakh and over 25,000 TUV300 models are on the roads which indicate that this model is a strong player in SUV segment.
