The Meghalaya Board of School Education was started under the Meghalaya Board of School Education Act in 1974. Every year the board is responsible for both SSLC and HSSLC examinations. For every academic year huge number of candidates participated in examinations of science, commerce and arts streams.
The main mission of board is to educate the students across the state and to legalize the school education in the state of Meghalaya, India.
