The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET 2016 will be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The exam is conducted for admissions into B.E./B.Tech / B.Pharamacy and Medial Courses.
DTE Maharashtra will tentatively conduct MHT CET 2016 for entry into first year B.E/B. Tech / Medial programmes in May 2016. The application forms for this entrance exam will tentatively be available by February 2016 fourth week. It has been confirmed that the exam will be computer based for the academic year 2016-17. The admissions will be provided in various professional educational institutions in the state of Maharashtra.
The candidates interested in applying for this admission test should have passed Class 12 from any recognized board or equivalent. The applicant must also have a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Application form of Maharashtra CET 2016 will be available for Engineering and Medical streams.
