Gujarat, May 29: India’s first Digital Experience center will be opened by the Microsoft Company, it will open center in Vadodara in an association with Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Manohar Hotchandani, Director, Business Development at Microsoft India announced in Vadodara “the center is managed by Microsoft’s distributor Ingram Micro, which is helpful for companies, organizations, associates and individuals to gain a first-hand experience on modern technologies which are running with Microsoft software including windows apps and office 365.Microsoft”.

The purpose of center is to bring an experience to SMES, entrepreneurs and educational institutions and help them to know the use of modern cloud technology for business growth and to improve skills and promote learning.

Along with SMEs, Microsoft and VCCI will also help the educational institutions to implement technology which will be useful for future generations for the mobile-first, cloud first world. As a part of this, Microsoft has recently announced the cloud-computing based technology i.e. Edu-Cloud which provides the advantages for educational institutions to improve digital learning and teaching with digital content and free access to office365 on windows-powered tablets.

When Edu-Cloud was introduced in earlier in May, Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman of Microsoft India said that, the service will be helpful for 1 million teachers and 6 million students across 1,500 institutes in over the next 18 months.

He added in the press conference that “Today’s students are digital natives. At Microsoft, we help them imagine the future and realise it. With the help of cloud computing, they create, deliver, and manage content from any device, anywhere, anytime, making learning easy and fun”.

The company is also announced a tie-up details with the Chaitanya group of educational institutions, which will adopt Edu-Cloud technology for teaching and enhance skills.
