Andhra Pradesh, July 6: Mitsubishi Corporation will set up a Japan information and Study Center at AU to promote their local language Japanese and to introduce Japanese culture to locals.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in a three-day visit of Japanese county. On the first day of tour CM met honchos of several Japanese companies and discussed regarding several investment schemes with them.
Yoshio Okuno, representative director of Fuji Electric has informed that, the company has identified a site in Vijayawada to set up a smart grid project, in a meeting with Naidu representatives of company has presented a report regarding weather condition, wind direction at site and the connection between weather and power demand in state.
Later senior-vice president Yasuhiko Kitagawa came forward with a deal under the corporate social responsibility (CSR). As part of CSR programme, Mitsubishi Corporation has decided to set up Japan information Study Centre at AU to promote their local languages and to introduce their culture to AP locals.
Naidu welcomed Mitsubishi Corporation to set up their information study center at Krishnapatnam he also discussed with Yoshiro Tanaka, chairman of Mayekawa Mfg, who are interested to explore fisheries sector. Tanaka informed Naidu that, a technical team of their company will visit the Godavari district in this year August to study about processing of fisheries sectors in the state.
Naidu is also discussed with Yokohama port president Masayuki Takashima to prepare a master plan for partnership between Yokohama port and AP ports such as Kakinada, Krishnapatnam and Vizag.
