Chennai, July 14: Music composer MS Viswanathan death shocked everyone in the Tamil filmdom. The veteran composer of 750 films has died at Fortis Malar hospital on Tuesday morning 4:30 AM.

MS Viswanathan who is ever known as MSV popularly is invaded by death today, Tuesday early morning 4:30 AM. The 88 years old legendary music composer who is well known as “King of Light Music” was in treatment at Fortis Malar hospital in Chennai for some breathing problem as well as old-age related ailments. The Veteran composer has never pinned down to musical traditions and has completely 750 movies in his debut.

He has four sons and three daughters for his lifetime and dedicated his whole life music only. MSV started his career in 1952 with Sivaji Ganeshan’s Tamil movie, “Panam” and later extended his music trends in Telugu, Malayalam. T.K. Ramamurthy in co-ordination with Viswanathan has many hits recorded in their debuts of 86 films for over 10 years of togetherness.

Some of music hits include, “Paasamalara, “Aakali Rajyam”, “Maro Charitra”, “Sumaithaangi”, “Server Sundaram”, “Aayirathil Oruvan” and “Enga Veetu Pillai”, “Anthuleni Katha”, “Idhi Katha Kaadu”, “Rickshawkaran”, “Bharatha Vilas”, etc. If list is to taken, there will be a no-end mark.

Starting his career in 1952, he has won many awards from Telugu, Tamil and Malayam films. His wife, Janaki also died in 2012 and officials said that last rites will be performed tomorrow, Wednesday.
