Chennai: Choreographer cum director Raghava Lawrence’s Ganga, (Muni 3, Kanchana 2) which is the third instalment of his Muni series is said to rock theaters on April 17 as release date.
The Choreographer cum director Raghava Lawrence will be at theatres on 17th April with his forthcoming movie “Ganga” which is the third instalment of his Muni series. The movie shooting has been started couple of years ago, but was delayed due to back problem of Raghava Lawrence. It is a sequel movie of Muni-1 and Muni-2 (Kanchana) and named as “Ganga”. Those two sequels are commercially big hit for Lawrence and he is expecting same with upcoming film “Ganga”.
The movie was initially named as Muni -3 but later it changed to Kanchana -2. Five music directors along with Lawrence worked for this film. Tapsee, Nithya Menon and Kovai Sarala are playing lead roles. Movie shooting was started in 2012, but due to health problem of Lawrence it took 2 years of time to finish.
Initially Anjali and Tapsee are chosen for key roles but later Nithya Menon replaced Anjali’s character. This is also dubbed to Telugu where Bellamkonda Suresh is producing. As per film news, Lawrence would introduce his brother Vino, who would dance in one song.
