India: Myntra which the first web-based-e-commerce organization for going app-only has decided to step back, starts mobile site now.

Myntra which became the first web-based-e-commerce organization for going app-only has decided to step back. Now, it is started a mobile website and that is in pilot stage at present.  With its app the organization is planning to develop the business of it.

It is well known fact that Flipkart who is the parent of Myntra also recently again introduced a mobile web version i.e. Flipkart Lite. This web version tries for offering an app-like experience. Another big e-commerce website Snapdeal which produces above 70% of its sales from mobile devices is also ready to come up with modified mobile website i.e. Snap-Lite.

This year in May, Myntra announced that it will go app-only, which is the first ever e-commerce organization for undertaking this kind of movie in India. First, the mobile website of the Myntra’s is being started still partially for users. Myntra users still will have for making the final purchase on the app unlike Flipkart. As per sources the organization is not giving purchases through this mobile site.

A source said that it will be on the lines of the list available on the mobile site and at the same time will put Myntra back on the google search platform. Myntra’s an official spokesperson didn’t comment on this matter.

Experts added that Myntra planning to offer a mobile catalog for attracting the new customers, most of the customers search for the product on Google first and go to the first site which is in top position in Google search results.
