Nagaland Board of School Education was established on 1st October 1974 and is mainly responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in the state. Once a year it conducts higher school and secondary level certificate examination. This year also the board had conducted the 10th and 12th Class examinations in the month of March 2016. This year, it was estimated that about 60 thousand students have appeared for the state board exams combining both the 10th and 12th standards. As the exam was conducted the board is now planning to announce results at the main site very soon.
