DID MAKE IN INDIA – Made IT ???? Narendra Modi’s promise to make India as the Future’s Next manufacturing hub is facing a tough task. The situations that are prevailing seems to act against the ambitions and ideas of Mr.Modi. The Make In INDIA program till today has not achieved success as expected. The criticism against this campaign is growing day by day by the opposition parties. The Economic situation also seems negative for Modi’s ideas.
The Data and time that are said by Govt. for making India in top 50 countries Index of doing business also seems a vague promise as per the prevailing conditions.
Accepting the fact that INDIA being a complicated country to govern, the promises that are made by the Prime Minister are questionable as the exports have fallen for the past 1 year, trade deals have stopped, borrowing cost is increasing, Investments are weak.
Construction and Energy sectors have faced declining Investments and also the flow of investments has stopped.
Some of the Positive aspects for Modi’s govt. is that the FDI has a remarkable growth by 33% as per the Data provided by Central Bank, since Modi became Prime Minister.
India’s population may surpass China’s population, the advantage of such demographic and luring factors should be utilized for attracting the Manufacturer’s for Investments as plenty of Human resources will be available for them. Accordingly the Govt. machinery should function in making the Laws that are easy for the manufacturer’s to invest.
Tax incentives are expected in the coming budget which may be helpful for the Leather, Jewellery and gems industries which are Labour oriented.
Finally, one should accept the fact that TIME is less in a Competitive World that we are living in. Fastest will achieve the success. India should think upon the various opportunities that are beneficiary and make the country an easy place to do business as per Modi’s Speech in recent times.
