Director Anu Menon’s upcoming film Waiting Trailer has released featuring Naseeruddin and Kalki at Dubai International Film Festival.

The two-minute Waiting Trailer tells the tale of “two strangers” sharing a heartwarming bond, portrayed by Kalki and Naseeruddin Shah, riding in the “same boat” of problems and “looking for answers” to that.

Naseeruddin plays the professor Shiv Natraj whose wife is in the hospital and is in a coma since eight months and he hopes that she will get well. At the same time, the young Tara Kapoor (Kalki) is also waiting at the hospital for her husband who has a brain injury due to a road accident.

As the trailer shows, speaks about living life with “courage,” loving someone with ultimate “faith” and laughing with “people” even during hard times. The Anu Menon directed the movie, which also stars Rajat Kapoor in it.

The 32-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle to share the trailer and wrote, “That’s it. The wait is over…well almost! Hope you all enjoy the trailer. The ‘Margatita with a Straw’ actress yesterday posted the first official poster of the movie on her Twitter handle which said, “Get ready to #LiveLoveLaugh.

The poster features Kalki sporting a smile and Shah in a pretty jovial mood. The film Waiting opens on May 27.
