Baahubali – The Beginning director Rajamoul’s father and writer K.V Vijayendra Prasad is all set to write a story of his next project Nayak 2.

Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad has penned the stories for Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijan and much more. He is a great writer and with his stories, he made huge popularity and attracts countless fans.

As per latest updates, Kollywood film ‘Madhulvan’ was a huge blockbuster which was directed by Shankar. In 2001, it was made in Hindi as ‘Nayak’ starring Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles. The prestigious production house Eros International has announced that it is going to produce Nayak 2 to the 2001 political thriller ‘Nayak’.

“Nayak created ripples on its release and was one of the most successful political satires of its time. It’s the apt time to plan the sequel in the current political milieu,” said Sunil Lulla, MD of Eros. Writer KV Vijayendra Prasad is going to script this Nayak 2 film. The writer himself confirmed that the sequel is on board. Cast and crew are not yet decided but the makers are planning it to be on a large scale.
