Chennai: After a success of ‘Maya’ Nayantara want’s act the village story movies as previous. She recently got an offer for an horror movie from Sargunam director who the well know from Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa Movies.
Recent trend in Tamil cinema is to make ghost movies. These ghost movies are made in various genres like comedy, romance, thriller and drama. Almost all the recent ghost movies in Tamil are super or average hits. None of them flopped. In keeping up with the current trend ,every artists has started trying their luck in ghost movies. Even big stars like Surya and Nayanthara are no exceptions.
Nayanthara acted in ghost movie Maya ,Hansika in the movie Aranmanai and Trisha in the movie Aranmanai-2. Trisha is currently acting in another horror flick Nayagi. After Nayanthara acted in Maya, nearly thirty diectors contacted her with ghost stories.
But this versatile actress who loves to show a difference in every movie she acts , did not accept any offers to act in Ghost movies. She wants to experiment in other genres before acting in another ghost movie.
Recently Sargunam the director of super hit movies like Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa has contacted Nayanthara to act in his own production. Nayanthara who initially showed interest in his movie, thinking it will be village based story like his previous movies ,was shocked to find out that it was ghost story too. But since story was completely different from all other ghost stories she has accepted Sargunam’s offer.
