Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has conducted the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET. NEET exam was conducted on 7th may 2017 triumphantly. The exam is very crucial for MBBS and BDS aspirants as it is a national level exam and prestigious exam. The exam result also decides the students career.
The madras high court has stoped the proceedings of NEET 2017 as many petitions are filed for the cancellation of the exam. The exam was conducted in 10 different languages and in each language the questions are different. Some students are not in favour of this pattern and they were against CBSE. So the board denied them. The students claimed that the English question paper is easier as compared to the Indian languages question papers. So the courts have granted interim injunction and the NEET result declaration 2017 cancelled on 8th June 2017.
The agencies concerned with this matter are union health and family welfare secretary, DG health services, medical council of India, central board of secondary education and the government of Tamil Nadu. Court stayed on all proceedings of NEET 2017 till 7th June. None of the agencies seemed to be bothered about the issue.
1135104 students have appeared for the exams in 104 test cities across India.
