“Masterchef India 4” cooking show was ended on Sunday and 21-years old Nikitha Gandhi, an Indian based in Abu Dhabi won first prize of Rs.1 crore among three finalists. This is a reality cookery show which has been running since 11 weeks with innovative vegetarian cooks and has sustaining viewers.
Sanjeev Kapoor, Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna hosted as judges for final episode to shortlist the winner among 3 finalists Nikitha Gandhi, Neha Shah and Bhakti Arora. Nikitha Gandhi, the young and energetic food admirer who was born in Ahmadabad, was chosen as winner and consistent performer throughout the season among three on the basis of viewers votes. Runner up Mumbai based Neha Shah won Rs. 10 lakh prize money and trip for two to London and the show’s second runner up Hyderabad based Bhakti Arora, won Rs.5,00,000 prize money.
Nikitha thanked all viewers, judges and channel Star Plus for giving her a huge platform to expose her cooking talent. She said that “These four to five months here (in India) thanks to ‘MasterChef…’ have made me realise that India is truly my home.”
Raghu Ram hosted the show and bollywood stars Kangana Ranaut, R.Madhavan, co-stars of ‘Tanu weds Manu’ were also participated in a pani-poori making completion on show. The grand finale was successfully ended in presence of Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, and ‘MasterChef India 3’ winner Ripudaman Handa along with Shivang and with their special performances. Judges of show performed on a special song which is composed specially for “MasterChef India 4’.
