Hyderabad: No visitors will be allowed at RGI Airport from today onwards till 20th August as a part of the security arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations at Telangana.
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is also popular as Hyderabad International Airport. RGIA an international airport is a center for spice jet, Luffthansa Cargo, TruJet and Blue Dart Aviation. As per information the airport will not allow any visitor from towards till 20th August as a part of Independence celebrations. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has stopped the sale of visitors tickets for the airport form today onwards for security arrangements.
According the information, The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has ordered the GHIAL Hyderabad to stop sale of visitor entry tickets at all the airports in India including Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) from 10th to 20th August 2015 to made security arrangements for Independence Day celebrations.
To sharp the security requirements during this period, RGIA has advised the passengers to come to the airport well in advance and informed to avoid large number of greeters. RGIA has also requested the all passengers to cooperate with the security personnel at airport security check points during this period. The sale of visitor entry tickets is as normal as earlier after 20th August 2015
