Chennai: No sequel for Kumki, the director of Kumki movie Prabhu Solomon shocked with the rumors of sequel. He revealed no sequel for Kumki film and we will intimate upcoming project soon.
Vikramprabhu who is the grandson of the great legend of tamil film industry Late. Sivaji ganesan and son of actor prabhu made his debut with the movie ‘Kumki’. The movie was an ultimate blockbuster. Lakshmi menon was also introduced as heroine in that project. Both of them had a great entry with this project.
This film was directed by Prabhu Solomon. It is a beautiful love story between a mahout and a tribal girl. An elephant did a major role. The film also portrayed the life of tribals. Cinematography was exemplary.
Recently we reported that the director came up with a plan to direct the second part of kumki. But now sources said that it was a baseless rumour. Prabhu Solomon right now focuses on Dhanush’s project and he works on the post production work.
The source said, “Prabhu Solomon himself was surprised on seeing this news. He had no plans of directing sequel to Kumki. Even if that happens it would be injustice to that first part. Prabhu Solomon already fixed his next project and he will reveal the details soon.”
