Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri Reveals Plans to Re-enter Smartphone Market

20 June: Nokia Company is planning to comeback in the smartphone market late next year, CEO of company Rajeev Suri has revealed the plans about re-enter.

World largest mobile manufacture company Nokia is set to make comeback in smartphone market late next year. The company CEO Rajeev Suri revealed the company plans regarding re-enter. He said that, company is looking for suitable partners to begin a new chapter, “We will look for suitable partners. Microsoft makes mobile phones. We would simply design them and then make the brand name available to license.”

Nokia Company has launched the Nokia N1 tablet as a first mobile product where the company signed a brand-licensing agreement with Foxconn. Suri suggested the company would start designing for a new smartphone just as it Android based Nokia N1 tablet which was launched in last November.

Microsoft attained Nokia’s handset unit for $7.2 billion in September 2013. Following the completion of the acquisition, the Microsoft Company started developing of Windows based Lumia Mobile devices, but those are not much popular as opposite Android and iOS running devices.

As this resulted for the next year Nokia is expected to make an agreement with a company which will be responsible for work, supply, and sales of its smartphones. And the company will follow the same tactic which was used when launching first product Nokia N1 tablet.
