Hyderabad: TS government is showing much interest in developing near by cities to Hyderabad and Secunderabad, with this Warangal is becoming popular for tourist places.
Telangana government has started to put focus on surrounding districts of twin cities. Till now govt has completed campaign to set Hyderabad in Unesco’s heritage list. They agreed that neglected lot to develop cities which are surrounding to twin cities.
In Telangana state, Warangal is second large city. In this district many spiritual and religious places and a number of tourism tour spots will be going to develop by TS state government.
Architecture which is look like Kaktiya style, statues, rock cut as elephant shape and different types interested visiting things found in it. Recently brochures have been released by Telangana government which shows and describe tourism development; corporation ltd features pictures and small description about stunning temples and lakes of wealth of architectures.
Sources in the state tourism department discover that the government has restricted efforts of the Qutub Shahi monuments of Hyderabad until now; from this moment government has decided to push up the prise of Telangana state with different tourism places in World Heritage Site.
Unesco’s World Heritage site has already contains provisional list of “Keerthi Thorana” of Warangal fort, Rudreswara temple called ramappa at Palampet and Rudreswara temple which is called Thousand Pillar temple at Hanamkonda etc.
The other districts have been ignored to make Hyderabad is a tourist end. We found that each district of Telangana has a unique something to suggest tourists. Medaram is a small village in Warangal and it is the largest tribal religious meeting in the country. Sammaka Sarallmma Jatara is also conducted once in two years in Medaram, Warangal.
