Operation Muskaan in Hyderabad Rescued 37 Children Till Today

Hyderabad, July 3: Operation Muskaan in Hyderabad rescued 37 children who are missing and reunited them with parents as per the directives launched from the Indian Central government.

Operation Muskaan which is a national wide campaign has been launched on July 1, Wednesday to rescue the missing children all over India. By yesterday, Thursday, the team saved 37 children who are abandoned. After the mission, “Operation smile”, the Central Government launched “Operation Muskaan” on Wednesday as part for rescuing the children who are missing/ partitioned from their family.

Officials said that CID branch of Telangana Police are coordinating with several departments of Labour, Revenue, Women and Child Welfare and working as a team to make this mission successful. As part of implementation, they have rescued 37 members till today from various railway stations, bus stations, roads and other places. Even cousellers are helping the team by finding some information from the children.

Website, trackthemissingchild.gov.in will be updated daily with the information that the child provides. The organizing team will trace parents and reunite them with their children in minimum amount of time possible. All the children who are rescued are taken to Home for Boys at Saidabad, Girls’ Home at Nimboliadda by separating with gender.

With Operation Smile, there are some problems like accommodation for many children due to lack of capacity in Govt schools. A Naveen Kumar, deputy superintendent, Government Children’s Home for Boys said that the team is trying their best and we are in best support to them. He said that completely 147 children are rescued till now and accommodated in the hostel. More can also be accepted to help the people.

It is said that Women and Child Welfare Department at Kukatpally has more space to accommodate around 500 people, hence from Saturday, the children who are found will be placed there.
