Hyderabad, July 10: Osmania University has ranked in first position in all the State varsities of India in a survey that is conducted by India Today Group-Nielsen.

India Today Group-Nielsen conducted a survey to find the best university among the country from all states. In this regards, Osmania University bagged the first position among all the State universities in India. On Wednesday, in a press meet, University Registrar Prof E Suresh Kumar announced this news.

The entire official’s happiness is at the peak stage with this achievement of gaining first position among all universities in South India. When complete universities of the country are taken into consideration, it is declared that OU ranked in fifth position among Central Universities.

This is not only the achievement of the Heads that are working now but also each and every ground person who are responsible for the reputation of the University. Infrastructure, faculty, research publication and reports, academic input are some of the reasons that this has been selected for the first place.

Mr. Kumar said, “Reputation of the university, research publication and reports, quality of academic input, faculty, students and infrastructure, placement opportunities, admission procedure, students’ security arrangements and global exposure were taken as the parameters for ranking”.

The management team is trying to keep up the reputation of University safe and is aiming to reach the destination of top 200 universities across the world.
