Hyderabad, June 13: Girls performed better is OU graduation exams 2015. Number of graduates from Osmania University is little higher this year at 52.43 % comparing to last year at 48 %.
BA graduates recorded this year with highest improvement of pass percentage when compared to last year. This 62.46 percent of BA graduates qualified the exams when compared to last year’s 50.75 percent. Students from B.Com and B.Sc courses are also recorded with low improvements by 2-3 percent this year compared to last year.
According to the news Suresh Kumar, Register, OU announced in the press conference that, the pass percentage of girls is higher than boys in this year. Total 16,606 girls passed their exams where 11,267 boys cleared the examinations.
Mr. Kumar has also announced that, there will be an emergency meeting soon to discuss the issue of implementing the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for undergraduate students in OU. As per officials it may be implemented form next year. At present the management team of OU is focusing on improving the faculty strength.
