The Pakistani Prime Minister is facing a time from the opposition since his children names appeared on the Panama papers list.
The Pakistan’s prime minister is struggling to get out of the issue that is revolving around his political career and his children’s future. Nawaz Sharif has four children out of which three were named in the Panama papers list of black money holders and tax evaders. The Prime minister is keen to get out of this matter as soon as possible. His two sons – Sons Hassan and Hussian and daughter Maryam were accused in this scam.
Immediately after returning from London, the prime minister has asked for a probe by his set law commission or by any other authority to look into this matter with seriousness and at the earliest. Opposition parties stood strong for an independent probe. The government is in consultation with all the parliament leaders in order to find a solution for the Panama Papers created havoc.
Earlier, Sharif went to London on medical grounds for a week. He already announced a law commission to probe the issue but the strong opposition from other parties in parliament has halted it. The retired supreme court headed commission probe was also not acceptable to the opposition. Might be the joint Parliamentary committee may be set up as suggested by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
If nothing is worked out, then the government may head towards with the first announced law commission itself. The Prime minister has affirmed that the Panama Papers leak will be dealt legally in order to prove the allegations stated by them as false. Sharif has denied all the allegations sought of tax evasions, money laundering or any stake by his children in any of the offshore companies.
