Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party Registered | Aims GHMC Polls

Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan’s own political party Janasena has been registered as authorized political party by the Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC).

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who launched a new part in the name of Janasena has registered as Authorized Political Party by the Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC) on Wednesday. As we know, Pawan launched the political party last year before elections and his party did not participate in previous elections and gave support to TDP-BJP combine.

However, Pawan Kalyan is busy in shooting of his next films and after completion of shooting; he concentrated more on Political party. Now, as per latest updates, the party is going to contribute in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Elections that are expected to be held in two months.

Sources said that the party candidates will be entitled to special treatment over independent candidates in allotment of free symbols, the commission said. Pawan Kalyan, a top-ranking Telugu hero himself, has a huge following in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His party’s entry could affect the political dynamics if it chooses to contest the GHMC polls which are seen as the big test for the TRS government’s popularity.

Pawan played a key role in 2015 elections by supporting TDP and he is the main person for the formation of TDP government in Andhra Pradesh State. He said that, his entry is not for CM post or any ministries and his aim is to question the leaders and kept his word, by questioning even TDP in several issues like land pooling, special status etc.

However, there is no reserved symbol for Janasena party.  Janasena is aiming to participate in the upcoming GHMC elections.
