Deepika Padukone as a titular protagonist, a Bengali architect who is living in New Delhi supported her role in a best way showing too much love towards her ageing father, Amitabh Bachchan. No words to say about legend actor, Amitabh’s acting in the movie. Irrfan Khan is supporting character to Deepika did his best performance with both responsibility and love. Storyline in Brief
A titular protagonist (Deepika Padukone) who is a Bengali architect is living in New Delhi with her ageing father (Amitabh Bachchan). Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta portray supporting roles. Deepika’s father will be suffering from semi liquid motion first, then two days of gas and constipation. Due to this they will be travel from Delhi to Kolkata with Irrfan Khan. And the movie goes on with the journey and dynamics of their relationship.

Anupam Roy’s music composition is again proved to be the best with this movie that is released on 8 May. All songs from Piku are sweet and fabulous. Bezubaan sung by Anupam Roy hit many hearts of the audience and brought tears to my eyes. Journey song has an awesome tune. Each and every song makes you feel like you are a part of it. Lines, “Jeene ki kaisi aadat padi..bematlab karze chad gaye” makes us to listen some soulful songs. Music is soothing the audience.
Star Cast
Deepika and Irfan makes a sensible couple in the movie with their acting and no actor can be compared to Mr. Amitabh Bacchan. Awesome performance by each and every character is picturized nicely by Shoojit Sircar. Irfan Khan again did his best to support Piku, Deepika Padukone.
