Pink Movie Review

Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee in main roles Hindi film Pink released worldwide today among huge expectations. Pink is a social drama directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdary and written by Ritesh Shah. Rashmi Sharma and Shoojit Sircar jointly produced the film. The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, Andrea Taraing, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee.

Few scenes in the film was inspired from Hollywood flick The Accused. Coming to the Pink Movie Review, it has a powerful script and director showcases the current trend between boys and girls in a realistic manner.

Pink is a convincing movie that forces you to think. Director Aniruddha Roy came up with a message oriented script that everyone thinks about. The powerful script and performances of the star cast make the film watchable and on the flip side the characterization of Amitabh Bachchan is little bit deviating. It could better for Director if he gives extra scope to the role of Big B.

Little bit drag in second half also one of the minus point for the film. Except few scenes, the movie was good and undoubtedly it will be watchable. The interval bang is main highlight for the movie. It is a must watchable film for youth.

Pink Movie Story Plot

The story revolves around three girls. Minal Arora( Tapsee Pannu), Falk Ali (Kriti Kulhari) and Andrea (Andrea Tariang) are working professionals and doing their jobs normally in different fields in South Delhi. One night after a rock show, they got a dinner invitation from Rajveer (Angad Bedi) followed by two others in a resort in Surajkund, Haryana. Rajeev and his friends drunk deeply and they misbehave with girls. They try to abuse Tapsee and her two friends. Minal Friend Andrea unexpectedly touched by Dumpy (RaashulTandon). In that situation, Minal take a bottle and hit on Rajveer’s eye. He was over bleeded. He got angry and filed a wrong FIR against the girls mentioning them as prostitutes by using his popularity and political connections.

Attempt to murder case filed on Minal and it is condemned, she would face imprisonment for nearly 10 years. Deepak Sehgall (Amitabh) is a professional lawyer suffering from Bipolar Disorder who experiences frequent mood swings. He took the girls case and fight for justice. Will he succeed in that case, How Deepak fight for Girls against the boys is the rest of the story?

Overall Anirudh direction was superb and the amazing part in the film is the fact that is visually never shows you actual incident until the end. The mystery and thrilling scenes in the first half showed well and few scenes are extremely powerful. The BGM composed by Shantanu Moitra is superb.

Verdict: Finally Pink is a powerful and showed based on current happenings and eve teasing.  It is a must watchable film for everyone.
