Chennai: Mammootty’s upcoming Kollywood project Pokkiri Raja movie’s genre will be different from all that are made so far in the Tamil film industry.

Sibiraj never tasted success as an actor in his 12 year career. His last release ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’ was an average fare at the Box-Office. The actor recently completed ‘Jackson Durai’ which is a horror comedy. Now he is acting in multi-starrer subject titled ‘Pokkiri Raja’.

The actor will share screen space with Jiiva in this movie. Ram Prakash Rayappa of ‘Tamizhukku Enn Onrai Aluthavum’ fame is directing this movie. ‘Puli’ fame P.T.Selvakumar bank-rolls the venture. Hansika is doing the female lead role.

Harris Jayaraj is the composer. The movie went on floors recently. And right now the shooting is happening at Pondicherry. Hansika Motwani recently joined the team and she shared the photos on her Twitter. Now regarding the movie Sibiraj says, “Director Ram Prakash just like his first movie ‘Thamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum’ has shaped ‘Pokkiri Raja also as a fresh idea.

This entire concept is totally new to Tamil audience. It was an amazing experience to work with Jiiva. He is very energetic on the sets. He is my very good friend in real life too. It is interesting to work with him and I am able to learn a lot from him.”
