Mumbai: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta got furious to media for reporting 90’s actress are spotted at Diwali celebrations at Bachchan’s home.

Preity Zinta is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Hindi and Punjabi movies. She also has worked in a couple of South Indian movies. She started her career with the movie ‘Dil Se’ in 1998. The 40 year old actress then got recognized when she did role of a single mother in the movie ‘Kya Kehna’ in 2000.

Later with movies like ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Veer-Zaara’, ‘Salaam Namaste’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Jehna’ she got some more recognition. She even acted in Canadian movie ‘Heaven on Earth’ and was awarded ‘Silver Hugo Award for best actress’.

The actress was last seen in a cameo role in the movie ‘Happy Ending’. Right now she is a judge for the reality show ‘Nach Baliye’. In this case, she recently attended Diwali celebrations at Bachchan’s and a section of media reported that the 90’s actress are spotted.

Preity got furious and has tweeted that she is not a 90’s actress. She tweeted, “Wonder why everyone in the media says that they miss Rani & My movies from the 90ties? I only had Dil Se, Soldier(98) & Sanghursh (99). Rani & Me worked in movies in 2000 & every 2 years after that. So technically I guess everyone has got the decade wrong. Isn’t that strange?”
