Mumbai, May 6: Priyanka Chopra stated that her dance performance with Deepika Paduke in their upcoming movie Bajiro Mastani should not be compared with Aishwarya and Madhuri’s Devdas as they are not similar in genre.

Dance-off together with Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Paduke in upcoming movie Bajiro Mastani is now the hot topic for Bollywood. This is the first time they are going to dance together and sharing screen for this movie. Anticipation of everyone is at peak stage and eagerly waiting to catch the dance performance.

Bajirao Mastani is the dream project of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali where Ranveer Singh plays lead role. Sanjay planned for a song with both Deepika and Priyanka together same like as Maduri Dixit nene and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s “Dola Re Dola” from Devadas movie.

Remo D Souza has been choreographing for this song. Actress Priyanka Chopra is excited about her face-off dance with Deepika Padukone and tweeted, “thanx to team and co-actress Deepika, for the great time she had working or this. Shooting with deepika is absolutely brilliant and it is realy glad to meet together, we were not competitive and complimented each other.”

She adds “I know that comparisons with Devdas are inevitable and people will pit us like that, but honestly, there shouldn’t be any comparisons. There is absolutely nothing similar between the two. Don’t compare us to them. That is a classic. Ours is more about the first wife versus the second wife and has a lot of heart-wrenching moments.”

In this movie both are performing “Lavani” dance together and is choreographed by Remo for 12 days. Priyanka plays a role of first wife of Matatha warrior Bajirao (Ranveer Singh) and deepika padukone as Mastani.
