Chennai: Upcoming Kollywood Tamil movie Puli starring Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and Sridevi in lead roles and directed by Chimbu Deven second trailer has been released.
‘Puli’ is Kollywood’s fantasy genre movie directed by Chimbu Deven. The movie was shot for a long time and now the movie is all set for a grand release on October 1st. The movie features Vijay, Hansika and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Sudeep and Sridevi are also doing crucial roles.
Devi Sri Prasad has handled Musical department. According to paper ads and trade sources, the bookings and advance reservations will be opened from tomorrow and theatre listings will be out soon. The Audio was a failure and that made the producers to stay away from Telugu Audio launch. There was no Telugu audio launch.
Now the makers planned to keep the spirits high by releasing second trailer. A second trailer for ‘Puli’ was released yesterday evening. This trailer is just 57 seconds long and more likely an extension of teaser with no dialogues. Vijay just speaks ‘Aiyaa..’ by the end of the trailer.
The trailer shows a castle from long shot. Sridevi seems to be the evil queen and she does some magic. Then comes Vijay fighting a troll with a sword. Shruti Haasan’s face pops like a pop-up ad. A troll runs madly on a bridge smashing soldiers and we get Deja Vu of Hollywood movies. Finally the trailer ends with a giant tortoise. The trailer once again proved that we are below par when it comes to Fantasy genre.
