Mumbai: Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 first weekend box office collection. Report says, the movie managed to collect Rs 22.40 Cr in first three days of release.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 which is sequel to 2011 hit film has released last weekend and got huge response among audience. The movie has collected a share of Rs. 22.40 crore on its first weekend and it performed well at box office.

The film stars Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha in led roles and it was completely a love entertainer. The movie revolves are around the love stories of three young people. It takes a snide, gender-biased stance towards women, calling them the root of all evil.

The film is doing well at the box office because of its good script, clever screenplay, comedy, jokes and wonderful performances. Also, it had no competition as such in this week, except for Anushka Ranjan’s Wedding Pullav which had no buzz at all.

As per reports, the film garnered around Rs 6.60 crore on Friday, Rs 7.60 crore on Saturday and Rs 8 crore on Sunday. It is interesting to know that the trade pundits had expected the exact same figures for the third day!

The collections give the makers of the film and of course the star cast a reason to party. Good reviews given by both masses and media have sure helped the movie’s collection. PKP 2?s plot and overall treatment given to the issue has been lauded by people and we can’t wait to watch how the film performs over the week.
