Chennai: Radhika Apte is to act in Super Star Rajinikanth’s upcoming film. She has become famous with couple of films in Telugu and a short film named, Ahalya.

Radhika Apte who got famous with her latest short film Ahalya gets a chance to act opposite South Indian Super Star Rajinikanth. She is very famous in recent days with couple of films and is praised by many critics. She also had admiring reviews for her action in short film Ahalya.

As per latest news Radhika Apte is going to act with Rajinikanth for the upcoming film which is yet to be tilted. Previously Vidya Balan name was selected for lead role and finally Radhika Apte is finalized for the prestigious project.

According to latest buzz, Super Star Rajinikanth is in main lead and he will be playing Gangster role in the movie which is considered as one of the biggest projects. The complete information is not revealed but as per news, shooting will be started in Malaysia very soon.

Movie is expected to be released by next year. Earlier she acted in few south films like Dhoni and Legend. Ghosh’s 14 minute Ahalya film gave modern twist and Radhika Apte played a role of Ahalya, the wife of aging artist very well.

The complete information regarding film is not yet revealed. As per sources, Pa. Ranjith will be directing this movie under Kalaipuli S Thanu’s production . The music will be composed by Santosh Narayanan. In the month of August, film crew will leave to Malaysia for a one month shooting. It is also said that when contacted, she didn’t respond properly about movie.
