Mumbai: Film maker Rajkumar Hirani in his statement regarding intolerance in India, said that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is innocent and also said that he never forgets November 23.
Film Maker Rajkumar Hirani has confessed that Aamir Khan’s statements regarding ‘intolerance’ were completely innocent. Aamir Khan could never forget the day November 23rd in his life time. He was called to attend Ramnath Goenka Excellence Awards in Journalism and speaking at the event he said,
“Whenever I chat with Kiran, she used to say, ‘Should we move out of India?’. I know it is a big statement from Kiran. But she fears the child and the atmosphere surrounding us.” This is what Aamir said. But lots of media made it into a big issue. Lots of people have attacked him and few people have supported him.
Now the latest to support Aamir is Film-maker Rajkumar Hirani. Rajkumar Hirani said, “In my opinion, what Aamir said was very innocent. He has in fact shared something from his personal family conversations. He should have ignored. But the way he is being attacked by people, I see intolerance in that.
First of all, we need to analyze the interview. He was called for an award function and not a press meet. He was asked to speak on various topics and one of the questions happened to be this (intolerance)”.
