Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra wants to work with hero Anil Kapoor meanwhile, he is launching Kapoor’s son Harsha in the movie Mirzya.
After directing his scions, it seems like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to take charge of the ultimate ‘jhakkas’ man of Bollywood. He is gearing up for the release of Mirzya, starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher. But, at the same time, he has already started preparations for his next production venture with Anil Kapoor. The project is a Hindi remake of Everybody’s Famous, which was Belgium’s nomination for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 73rd Academy Awards.
As per source, the director said that he has been waiting to work with Anil Kapoor for a long time. “I always wanted to work with Anil and I still do. But I never got an opportunity. Now I am working with his son. I am launching him in my film. It is very important for me,”. “This is also emotional because it is Harsh’s first step into the world of cinema. I have a feeling that you will be seeing a lot more of him,” added Mr Mehra. “With Mehra, there is the trust factor, so Anil said yes.Anil truly believes that Rakeysh is one of the few Indian filmmakers who can spin sensible cinema into a box-office success”.
Later Anil said “It is my son’s first film. It is an emotional moment for me. I can’t thank Mehra enough. There are a lot of people in the world who don’t know I have a son. They know I have two daughters Sonam and Rhea,”
