Many pilgrims are reaching river Godavari form Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Karnataka to have holy bath and offer prayers. Only at Rajahmundry more than 15 Lakhs pilgrims are visiting daily to perform holy dip in river godavari.

Godavari Pushkaralu 2015 which was started on 14th July, 2015 will be held upto 25th July, 2015. Telugu states Chief Ministers took this as a prestigious event and made many arrangements for the comfort of pilgrims.

On the first day of Pushkaralu due to human stampede at rajahmundry 27 pilgrims were dead. All political parties and people pointed Chandrababu naidu on this incident but Ram Gopal Varma pointed god. “For the pushkara deaths How come everybody blames only Poor C B Naidu and nobody blames God?” says Varma.
