Chennai: Few hackers from Pakistan Hacked the official Ranganathaswamy Temple Website and made threat warnings to the temple through the website.

They have hacked the website of the famous Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangam in the district. The website was immediately suspended and it was confirmed that it was hacked by some eminent hackers based in Pakistan.

The website which showed pictures of the temple suddenly showed some terrorist images. The news shocked most of them. The bhakti and devotees shared the photos in social media. The website provided various services through online.

All the e-services were stopped due to the hack. Officials said that the website  which was found hacked last night by some unidentified persons was used for booking rooms and poojas besides making donations. Cyber crime said that Pakistani hackers have done this based on the IP Address.

But the website, srirangam.org started working from today morning once again. However, the server and other details were shifted to a new place. The cyber crime department promised that there won’t be any mishaps in future.
