Mumbai: Bajirao Mastani movie directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the Hindi film in which Ranveer Singh is addicted to look with bald head for past 18 months.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are doing female lead roles along with male lead character Ranveer Singh. The movie is ready to hit screens on 18th of this month and promotions have started.

Now during a promotional event, Ranveer Singh said, “I was given an option of using an artificial head cover like other co-stars in the movie. But I knew it was not a practical solution because it required more than an hour to apply before shooting and another hour to remove it.

I decided to go bald because I wanted to look like Bajirao. After lots of thoughts, I decided to go bald. After tonsuring, I got the complete satisfaction of living up to the expectation of the role. I knew that it is not going to affect other movies as I was completely working for this movie for past 18 months.

I left my family, friends and phone for about 21 days and confined myself to the room of a hotel in Juhu. I just got addicted to the role and this changed me completely.”
