New Delhi, June 19: Full-dress rehearsals are going at Rajpath on Friday morning to celebrate International Yoga Day on Sunday 21st June, 2015.
India’s first International Yoga Day is going to celebrate this Sunday i.e. on 21st June, 2015 at Rajpath. More than 37,000 people are going to participate on this event. Thousands of schools children, members of the armed forces, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Government officials and Yoga enthusiast are interested to perform asanas which will be prescribed by the head of main event during the around 35-minute event, which will begin at 7:00am.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also take a part in this and India will seek to make a new Gunnies Book record with the largest Yoga gathering at a single spot with around 37,000 people. All those are going to perform different yogic asanas and positions. And more than 50 diplomats are also joining on this event to create another record.
With the proposal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech at the UN General Assembly on 27th September 2014, it declared that, 21st June as the International Day for Yoga. 192 out of 193 countries across the world, Yoga event would be observed on the day.
The mega preparations for the event in national capital Rajpath have begun. Security arrangements have been made with around 3,000 police and 1500 traffic police personnel’s and paramilitary forces to cover the event.
